This does not mean you should not walk and face some small problems for do it. I’ve visited Dublin for five days, going two times out of town. However, the Irish capital has not many cultural attractions and then your 3 days will be divided mainly between monuments, gastronomy and pubs, breweries and distilleries. Not bad right? No doubt the cost of the ticket (10 Euros) may sound too expensive, but we are in Ireland and here everything costs a lot. Not to be missed in a 3 days trip to Dublin is the St. Patrick Cathedral where it is said that St. Patrick baptized the first Christians on a bottomless pit. Today, St. Patrick’s Cathedral is the largest church in Ireland and shares its majesty with Christ Church Cathedral.
Among the monuments to not forget there are also the statue of Molly Malone, the old Stock Exchange building and don’t miss the major city bridges that cross the River Liffey. What to eat in a 3 days visit in Dublin? We start from breakfast, I think a good Full Irish Breakfast is enough to start the day. Eggs, sausages, beans, bacon will provide you with the right calories. For the rest of the day Smoked Salmon, Fish and Chips, drisheen, Irish Stew, Champ and very traditional Dublin Coddle.

Dublin is not only the capital of Ireland, but also the capital of whiskey (in Ireland it’s called that) and beer. Here you can visit the old distillery of one of the most popular whiskey in Dublin, the Old Jameson. I must say that the tour is worth the cost of the ticket but only on condition of being really passionate of this alcohol.
